Academic Calendar and Class Schedule
ACADEMIC CALENDAR A.Y. 2024/2025
The academic year begins on October 1, 2024 and ends on September 30, 2025. The calendar may be subject to changes that will be approved in upcoming Department Council meetings.
Classes are suspended on the following days:
- every Sunday and the following days:
- November 1 (All Saints’ Day),
- December 8 (Feast of the Immaculate Conception)
- December 23 to January 6 (Christmas holidays)
- from the Thursday before Easter to the following Tuesday (Easter is on April 20, 2025)
- April 25 (Liberation Day)
- May 1 (Labor Day)
- June 2 (Republic Day);
- June 10 (Feast of St. Maximus, Patron Saint of L’Aquila).
April 6 is considered a day of civic mourning in memory of the victims of the 2009 earthquake.
Preparatory courses will take place in September, before the start of classes

Notice
Working students who need to justify their absence with a certificate must print the form before going to the Economics department, have it signed by the instructor after actually taking the test, and then submit it for stamping to the Departmental Office for Course Planning and Quality Assurance.
