Starting from the 2018/2019 academic year, the Master's Degree program in Administration, Economics and Finance includes an international track for the award of a Double Degree with the University of Twente .

This program allows students to obtain, over the course of two years, a second-level degree awarded by the University of L’Aquila and a degree awarded by the University of Twente.

Earning a Double Degree offers students a unique opportunity to internationalize their academic path, broaden their academic and personal horizons, and enter the job market with greater success.

What it is

The Double Degree is an integrated study program activated by the University of L’Aquila and the University of Twente (Netherlands) that allows you to obtain a second level degree from both universities at the end of an international training program lasting a total of two years. The degree obtained will therefore have legal value in both countries.

Specifically, the Double Degree program provides the following diplomas:

§  Masters degree in Administration, Economics and Finance from Università dell’Aquila

§  Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration (specialization in Human Resource Management) from Università di Twente

The Double Degree also offers the opportunity to gain a stimulating and highly qualifying experience in a different cultural and university context, and to enrich one's personal and professional background.

How will it go

The study program is structured over two years and across two locations. Students begin their studies at the University of L’Aquila, where they complete the first academic year (two semesters). In the second year (two semesters), they continue and complete the program at the University of Twente.

To be awarded the Double Degree, the student is required to earn 60 credits at each of the two universities, for a total of 120 credits, by passing exams and participating in the educational activities outlined in the study plan.

During the second year, the student writes a single thesis, in English, co-supervised by a supervisor for each partner institution. The student takes a single degree exam at the end of the second year (at the partner institution), with a commission composed of professors from both universities.
